Hello, we are Wm Brown & Co. Maintenance

High Quality Asset by Asset Maintenance

Life safety systems require diligent and thorough maintenance. Trust us to provide high quality 'asset by asset' maintenance for a number of life safety systems.

Our maintenance services include:

Smoke Ventilation

Smoke ventilation systems play a critical role in occupant protection for buildings with more than three floors.

In these buildings, the primary cause of fatalities during a fire is not the fire itself but smoke, this reduces visibility and makes evacuation challenging for occupants and fire service personnel.

Under BS 7346-8 it is essential that these systems are maintained correctly by a qualified and competent supplier and test results logged for each asset.

Dry Risers

British Standard BS9990:2015. requires a visual inspection every six months and a full wet test (pressure test) every 12 months.

Dry riser servicing involves visual inspections and pressure tests to ensure the system is working correctly and complies with fire safety regulations. Dry risers are typically inspected every six months and pressure tested annually. These checks are crucial for ensuring the system is readily available for firefighters and that it can effectively deliver water to extinguish fires.
